Update: 2008-05-04 The new Balai Polis is now operational. In case you didn't know, it is located at the Eramas Commercial Centre.
Besides the police station, lots of banks, restaurants, hardware shops, etc have opened up at Eramas. Check out our forum for a comprehensive and up-to-date listing of shops in Eramas.
Besides that, we are happy to inform you that work on the Setia Alam club house has finally started! Where is this clubhouse? You guessed it -- Eramas Commercial Centre.
Update: 2008-01-10 Chinese New Year Bazaar 18th January - 3rd February 2008 (6pm - 10pm)
There is a CNY Bazaar planned at the Eramas Commercial Centre (near CIMB Bank). The bazaar will start on the 18th January and end on 3rd February. It will be held daily starting from 1800hrs (6pm) to 2200hrs (10pm).
We can expect CNY related goodies to be on sale at the bazaar. For more details, check out the forum.
Booths are still available for rent at only rm200 for 17 days!

Update: 2007-02-23 We need your help! It seems Digi (016) network coverage is not too good in Setia Alam. We have been informed by Digi that they can setup a cellular base in Setia Alam, provided that there is enough 'statistics' to help justify it. All you need to do is call the Digi helpline and tell them the connection in Setia Alam is really bad! The same with Pizza Hut. Although they have a branch in Bukit Raja, one resident has informed us that Pizza Hut has refused to deliver to Setia Alam, which is within the delivery radius (30 minutes or less than 15km away). The next time you drop by Pizza Hut or call them, tell them you want delivery service to Setia Alam. Complete the feedback form and tell them we want pizza! :)

Update: 2007-01-10 Several homeowners have reported of unscrupulous and dodgy contractors going around Setia Alam looking for renovation projects. Please be on the look out and be extra careful when dealing with contractors for your home renovation. You can read more about the complaints in the forum.
